LIGHTROOM EDITING TECHNIQUE
Having selected several images from the first shoot that had the correct expression and feeling I then took these images into Lightroom for editing. At this stage I have already reviewed all the images taken during the shoot and experiments and developed these to narrow down the selection of a smaller group of images that I feel are closer to the image I want.
Using Lightroom I now focus on:
Changing the colour saturation and subtle adjustments to the highlights and shadow areas in a way that can be applied to a range of images so as to create a cohesive series of images.
PLEASE NOTE....... it is vital in my opinion that my final series of images can sit together and work both individually and collectively as a body of work.
Improving highlights in eyes and on the tears.
Refining black and white settings to develop an image with the desired feeling and in line with the chosen media upon which I plan to have the images printed.
